I think that PV_RULES_LPD or Dobber or whatever his name is would be a great head basketball and football coach at PV. Nobody would see him so nobody can blame him for the wins or losses.

That is just typical of PV. If their not winning a championship then its the coaches fault. LOL. Crockett is a good coach.....Cut the man some slack he has a lot of young players.

Re: Crockett and his players

I dont think Crockett is a good coach, but at the same time, its laughable that so many people in this thread think they have the answers like you guys are the General Manager of a madden franchise. First off, its high school basketball, you only get so much amount of time with your players, how he choses to use his time I dont know, but to say he needs to be more involved with 7th graders is about the dumbest post of the year. Stan Wilson is going on 500 wins and over 30 seasons of good basketball. Other than driving the bus to take some 7th graders to summer camp, he hasnt done one thing in his whole damn life that had to do with basketball regarding kids that werent even in high school.

Granted, Crockett might stand to make some adjustments, try some new things, but to say he doesnt work hard and isnt involved is just stupidity on youralls behalf. No coach wants to lose, no coach wants to be criticized. He might not be the best coach, but listening to half the retardation on here, I have a feeling he's a better basketball coach than most of you guys. Sometimes you guys just bitch to be bitching and thats unjustifiable.

Re: Crockett and his players

I agree with you. Most of the people on here didn't play basketball and to think they know all there is to know about basketball is totally ridiculus. I don't know much about it, probably cause I never cared for it, but I wish some of these people who "profess" to know all there is to know about it, would get off the bleachers and coach it themselves.

Re: Crockett and his players

hahah blaimg a bad season on a coach is some stupid stuff!! You cant have a good basketball season when players are quitting because of a sport thats more than half a year away. I've never played for Crockett, but he's got a different way of doing things. And if you love a sport then you adjust to that, you dont do it your own way.
Theres no reason for anyone to blame this on the coach, hes not out there playin. IMO, hes doing all he can. He tells them what to do, its up to them how they perform.

And if hes got so much talent, then it wouldnt matter how he coached, think about it
